Postage
All livestock orders will be sent via RMSD (Royal mail special delivery) to arrive before 1PM at a charge of £10 which will automatically be applied at check-out, unless the ‘Show pick-up’ option is selected. The price on postage is subject to change during colder periods – the welfare of the stock is our priority! A heat pack and polystyrene box may be required for these deliveries and any amendment to the postage charge will be clearly displayed at the ‘check-out’ page. Livestock orders are posted out Monday – Thursday arriving on a next day service. A preferred day of arrival can be requested at ‘check-out’ to ensure there is someone in to take the delivery which will require a signature. Orders placed before 6PM will be posted the next day (Monday – Thursday). If for any reason we are unable to post next day or post to arrive on a preferred date (freezing temperatures, postal strikes, busy trading times) you will be informed immediately via email to rearrange. We do not use livestock stickers on our packaging so deliveries to the workplace and sneaking more spiders past not so understanding partners possible!

Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee live arrival on all livestock orders posted by way of the above. The guarantee will be void if nobody is present to take/sign for the delivery resulting in a delay in transit. The guarantee will also be void if delivery is delayed due to an incorrect delivery address being provided. Any delays in transit caused by the postal service won’t affect your live arrival guarantee.
In case of D.O.A (Dead on arrival)
We take pride in our packing. Livestock is packaged individually into appropriate sized plastic containers cushioned with moist paper towels. Even though we have done this countless times, for whatever reason e.g. postal delays, it can happen. In the unfortunate event of a D.O.A (Dead on Arrival) you are entitled to either a full refund or replacement with our live arrival guarantee. In this instance, you will be asked to provide a clear picture of the animal and in some cases we may require the animal to be returned, in order to process any refund/replacement.
If we are not informed of any D.O.A within the first 24 hours of receiving the parcel, this guarantee will be void.
Terms and Conditions Regarding Livestock
- All sizes are approximate, we state the sizes of the specimens we have in stock within the product title. Sizes may vary and we use them to give a rough idea, more often than not you’ll receive bigger specimens. 90% of our stock is not adult yet and still growing.
- The initial photos on the product pages are example images of the species at the specified size and may not be the exact specimen. Additional photos are available to view on individual product pages.
- Prices are for single specimens unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
- We reserve the right to postpone shipping when we feel it could be putting livestock at risk e.g. weather conditions.
- Collection is possible by prior appointment. We are based in Leamington spa, Warwickshire – hence the name (SpaSpiders).
